What is DocComs?DocComs is a secure patient communication and clinical workflow software. Without any organisational barriers, any clinician, anywhere (in the UK), can register and start discussing patients with other colleagues in matter of minutes. Pivoting around familiar chat conventions, DocComs allows both individuals and teams to track their patient, maintain digital lists, allocate tasks and perform digital handovers...plus much, much more.

Which devices does DocComs support?We have built DocComs to cater for healthcare professionals. So we are available on the Android PlayStore and iOS App Store in the UK only (at the moment).

Is DocComs available on Desktop or Web?Currently, DocComs is a Mobile only application. However, we know users want a Desktop version - so watch this space for updates!

How can I delete my DocComs account data?1. From within the DocComs App, tap the DocComs logo in the top-left corner of the screen 2. Select “Account” 3. Tap “Remove my Account” Your account and data will be removed from our core services within 1 working day. Any backups containing your data will be removed within 1 working week.

What data is held on DocComs servers?We store three core pieces of data: Personal Information (Name, Email address, Phone number, Organisational affiliation, Clinical role, Profile image), Messages (In-App Messages) and App Info (Crash and Error logs)

Are my messages encrypted on DocComs?All data on DocComs is encrypted at rest and in transit, so you can be sure all your conversation on DocComs is secure. Moreover, both all data is stored in UK-only data centres and both app and servers are regularly penetration tested to provide maximum protection from attackers.
